On March 26, the inauguration of the Andorra Rotunda was held in the presence of the authorities which, in addition to regulating the daily passage of hundreds of cars, welcomes and presents the beauties of Ravenna to those who access it from Fornace Zarattini.


We are proud to have supported the creation of the mosaic works that make this place of passage a real artistic installation, which pays homage to the thousand-year history of Ravenna and pays a small tribute to Fornace Zarattini, as an artisan area and main access route to the city.

We thank the Gruppo Mosaicisti Ravenna who masterfully created the mosaic works, reporting their words.

"The two mosaic sculptures are site-specific works. They represent the perfect contamination of art in the urban fabric and offer a reflection on the history and emblematic connection between the past and present of the city of Ravenna, recalling and interpreting two symbols of the mosaic decorations of the vault of the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, designed specifically for an urban road area by Marco Santi and created by his Mosaicists Group of which he is artistic director which has its second headquarters right in the Centro Mir and in collaboration with Juri Tramonti who created the two sculptures."
