Bellows are protective elements comprising a movable section and two connecting elements for fastening. 

They protect axially moving rods and machine parts from dirt, spray water, dust and weathering.

Depending on the model, they may allow movements perpendicular to the axis or a combination of movements (e.g. gear levers).

Bellows can follow axial movements within the limit values Lmin (compressed length) and Lmax (extended length).

Special loads (non-axial movements, pressure loads, etc.) affect the maximum working stroke and flexibility.
