External gear hydraulic pumps are characterised by two toothed wheels coupled inside a chamber.
When the pump gear is actuated, a quantity of fluid is drawn into the chamber through the delivery opening. This is transported by the teeth of the individual wheels to the output side of the hydraulic pump, where, due to the geometry of the part, a chamber is created that tends to progressively tighten as rotation continues. This constriction places the fluid under compression, which can escape under pressure through the opening provided. One-way aluminium and external gear hydraulic pumps have either a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction of rotation and are divided into three groups:
-GROUP 1 displacements from 0.91 cm³/rev to 9.88 cm³/rev, rotation speeds up to 6000 rpm and maximum pressures up to 300 bar. This group includes our hydraulic pump XV1P (VIVOIL) and PC-1 (INTERPUMP).
-GROUP 2 displacements from 4.2 cm³/rev to 39.6 cm³/rev, speeds up to 3500 rpm and maximum pressures up to 300 bar. This group includes our hydraulic pump XV2P (VIVOIL) and PC-2 (INTERPUMP).
-GROUP 3 displacements from 14.89 cm³/rev to 86.87 cm³/rev, speeds up to 3000 rpm and maximum pressures up to 320 bar. This group includes our hydraulic pump XV3P (VIVOIL) and PC-3 (INTERPUMP).
