The spherical plain bearings of the series GE..UK is maintenance free. The outer ring of this bearing is composed of steel with a sinter bronze bushing having PTFE composite. Such a bushing is then pressed on the internal part of the ring. The internal ring is tempered, with working surface hard chrome plated. This bearing is particularly recommended for operational conditions with unilateral loads, constant and without shock stress (expecially lifting appartus, piston rods for hydraulic cylinders etc.).
