 The spherical plain bearing of the series GE…UK2RS is maintenance free. The outer ring of this bearing is composed of chromium tempered steel. In the inner side of the outer ring high quality PTFE fabric (which guarantees high load performance) is glued on. The internal ring is tempered with working surface hard chrome-plated and with grooved seals with a double lip on each side. it is particularly recommended for operational conditions with unilateral loads, constant and without shock stress (expecially lifting appartus, piston rods for hydraulic cylinders etc.). The GE..UK2RS bearings have definitely a superior performance: they are suitable for very heavy loads moving in a single direction (e.g. the arms of a crane).
