The overcenter valve is a balancing valve and is intended to regulate pressure by guaranteeing a certain back pressure value.
It is used in applications involving the handling of suspended loads, such as lifting equipment, winches, excavator booms, and preventing gravity loads from falling.
The main functions of balancing valves are, in addition to supporting loads, to control the movement of hydraulic actuators with an applied load and thus the rate of descent.
Hydraulic evolution has led to an increase in the performance of this type of valve, which can be used for various purposes such as:
-Movement control;
-Safety control of the suspended load in the event of a pipe breakage;
-Load sway control.
Available in single-acting overcenter valves and double-acting overcenter valves.
Both versions are also made with a flange connection to allow direct connection to the actuator, i.e. flangeable single-acting overcenter valve version and flangeable double-acting overcenter valve version.
