The K55 is a single-acting full-piston seal consisting of a steel disc vulcanised with 70 shore A nitrile elastomer according to special manufacturing processes. K25 is inserted on the piston rod at the fixing stop and locked with a clamping nut. The sliding surface and cylinder hole must be oiled during assembly with oil compatible with the sealing element. For special applications requiring high temperatures, K55 can be produced in FKM.
