  • OIL SEAL VRM

VRM01s are axial sealing rings that consist of two parts, a metal ring with a protective coating and a vulcanised elastomer sealing element. 
The metal ring protects the elastomer from damage, serves as a support for the elastomer ring and simultaneously acts as a centrifuge. The elastomer ring is not glued but pulled over the metal ring and is additionally held axially by it.
 
VRM axial sealing rings are mainly used in combination with rotary shaft seals. They are applied as modular sealing elements mounted in series to prevent the ingress of dirt, dust and water from outside.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
- simple sealing element with limited footprint
- sealing against grease, dirt, dust, water
- additional sealing function due to the centrifugal action of the metal ring
- good combination with sealing rings
- no special requirements for the finish of the sliding surface
