Los VRM01 son anillos de estanquidad axial que constan de dos partes, un anillo metálico con revestimiento protector y un elemento de estanquidad de elastómero vulcanizado.

El anillo metálico protege al elastómero de posibles daños, sirve de soporte para el anillo de elastómero y actúa simultáneamente como centrifugador. El anillo de elastómero no está pegado, sino tensado por encima del anillo metálico y, además, está sujeto axialmente por este.

Los anillos de estanquidad axial VRM se utilizan principalmente en combinación con anillos de estanquidad para ejes rotativos. Se aplican como elementos de estanquidad modulares montados en serie para impedir la entrada de suciedad, polvo y agua del exterior.
