Diagram - MPM MAGNETIC PISTON TYPE
The MPM magnetic piston is specifically designed for double-acting pneumatic cylinders, where it is necessary to control the piston/rod stroke, via magnetic rings, inside the piston.
The MPM magnetic piston, compared to conventional one-piece NBR pistons, has another significant advantage, thanks to the piston wear ring, which keeps the piston perfectly aligned with the bore. In addition, the two opposing polyurethane piston seals ensure a good sliding effect on the piston and keep the system clean even in the presence of lubricated air.
The MPM magnetic piston consists of the following elements:
- 2 Polyurethane seals, opposite each other
- 2 Aluminium parts, for piston central elements;
- 1 Plastoferrite magnetic element;
- 1 wear ring to keep the piston axially aligned;
- 1 NBR O-ring;

Pressure: < 20 bar
Speed: < 1 m/s
Temperature: - 40° C to + 90° C
Fluids: lubricated and non-lubricated air, grease, etc.
